Day One of our big family vacation was right here in NE Ohio: packing, preparing, and enjoying special treats from near home. In the afternoon, Marci and Olivia went to the Summit Mall and designed a new friend at the Build-A-Bear workshop — Strawberry the Bunny-Rabbit. In the evening, me and the boys went to watch the Indians open a home-stand against the Rangers. It was a high-scoring affair, the Indians winning with a 3-run homer in the 11th inning.
