It is a board book with nice relistic mama and baby animal drawings and each page has a one word label for the animals featured on the page. The cover has a collie with two pups and a windmill logo "M & Z". I was intrigued, so I picked it up and noticed the publisher was Mulder & Zoon Amsterdam. Part of the original price tag is still on the book which reads De Slegte. So I bought it with your family in mind. I assume eend is duck or goose. haas is bunny or rabbit ezel is donkey or mule? geit is goat zwaan is swan poes is cat? and varken is pig?
